Empath (/em-path/) - (n.) A person who experiences the emotions of others.
Empaths can sense and absorb energy, including emotions and physical sensations from other people and their environment. This isn't just having a feeling about something; empaths can literally feel other people's emotions and often times their physical issues as if they were their own. While this sensitivity can be a powerful gift, it can also lead to significant challenges if not understood and managed properly.

Emotional Overwhelm
Absorbing the emotions and energies of others can lead to chronic fatigue, anxiety, and depression.
Physical Symptoms
Many empaths experience physical symptoms like migraines, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain. Empaths have a porous outer layer of the aura, like a sponge, and if we don’t consciously release others' energy, it remains stagnant, wreaking havoc in our lives first mentally and if left unattended physically.
Overstimulation
Empaths often feel overstimulated and experience emotional and social hangovers when they are around too many people. This leads to feelings of isolation and loneliness because the world seems overwhelming.
Relationship Struggles
Empaths often attract toxic partners due to their giving nature, leading to emotional burnout and co-dependency. Empaths are able to see what people can become, their true selves, and often mistakenly believe they can bring that out in their partners. Empaths give their hearts easily to narcissists and other emotionally unavailable people because of how loving they are, but what they get in return is not the same.

My journey to become an empowered empath began long before the term was widely known or recognized. When I was little, I had the most vivid dreams and would awaken feeling like they were, in fact, true. I could walk into a room, and sense the mood, I could meet someone new and instantly know if they were safe. As I went to school, I always felt like I didn’t fit in and often felt overwhelmed in crowded environments. Nature was my sanctuary and water was my sage.
As I hit my 20s, I used alcohol and sex to numb the overwhelm from these emotions, and in my 30s, I turned to food to try and find relief. I was struggling to understand why I always felt drained. It wasn’t just the emotional fatigue, but it was physical and mental fatigue as well. I started to develop depression, anxiety, immune disorders, and liver issues. I sought help from doctors, counselors, psychiatrists, and holistic healers, but found no real lasting relief. It wasn't until I began to explore and embrace my empathic nature that I discovered the right tools and techniques to transform my sensitivities into my greatest strengths. I studied extensively all that I could find on the issue and sought to develop my own intuition and connection to my higher power to understand the unique needs of my body. I learned how to protect my energy and how to refill it through carefully curated self-care routines. I learned how to be in control of this beautiful gift and developed a deeper appreciation for not only it but my intuition along the way. Today, I am passionate about helping other empaths navigate this journey to find peace, joy, and contentment as they unlock their full potential.
I know how difficult it is to be different from those around you. I struggled to embrace and understand my differences. I often found myself in the role of counselor to those professionals who were supposed to be helping me, a very common occurrence for empaths due to our ability to help others feel better through our energy transfer. I grasp how important it is to have someone who understands this journey you are on, someone who can provide guidance, support, and tools to help you shift from surviving to thriving. I have helped many empaths empower themselves and reclaim their lives.
I offer personalized Empath Empowerment Life Coaching sessions, both in person and online. My own personal journey to understand and empower myself as an empath has equipped me with the knowledge and tools necessary to help you transform your sensitivities into your superpowers. As a Board Certified (BCC) Holistic Wellness Life Coach, I use not only my personal experience but my professional training to fully empower other HSPs and empaths. My holistic coaching approach addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of being an empath. I am a strong believer in Holistic Health, which looks at the person as a whole, to provide lasting transformative change. With over 16 years of experience in the wellness field, my extensive knowledge and unique skillset, combined with my intuitive abilities, empower my clients to create profound and lasting transformations within themselves.
